Best Doctors and Clinics is an independent directory of doctors, clinics and hospitals across India. We check each doctor’s registration against the official register, show you what we checked and when, and keep the order of every list free from payment.
Why it exists
Finding a doctor in India usually means asking around, or scrolling through listings where it is hard to tell who is registered, what a visit costs or why one name sits above another. We wanted a directory where those answers are on the page: the registration and the council, the fee once confirmed, and a plain rule for the order.
Who runs it
The site was founded and is run by Faz, as an individual. Faz is not a doctor. Faz decides what we publish and is responsible for the method on our editorial policy page.
Faz checks registrations and confirms fees with clinics, one listing at a time, and writes our guides with help from AI tools, as our editorial policy explains.
Medical review
No doctor reviews our guides at present, and each guide says so under its title. They are written from regulators, official health bodies and published research, with the sources linked. If a registered doctor reviews a guide in future, their name, registration and the review date will appear on it.
How the site is paid for
Clinics and hospitals can pay a flat subscription for an upgraded profile with more factual detail. Upgraded profiles are labelled, and an upgrade never changes who is listed or in what order. We run no advertising and no affiliate links, and patient enquiries are free. The detail is in our advertising disclosure.
What we are not
We are not a hospital, a clinic or a booking service, and we cannot give medical advice. In an emergency, call 112, or 108 for an ambulance.
