List or claim your clinic

Listing on Best Doctors and Clinics is free. Inclusion is editorial, so no clinic, hospital or doctor can pay to be listed, to appear higher or to have a competitor removed. Use the form on this page to add a listing, claim one that already exists, or correct something we have wrong.

What you can do here

  • Add a clinic, hospital or doctor we have not listed yet.
  • Claim an existing listing, so that you can send us updates and receive patient enquiries.
  • Correct details such as an address, hours, a fee or the doctors who practise with you.
  • Ask for removal. See below for how we handle this.

What we need from you

For a clinic or hospital:

  • the registered legal name, address and a public phone number
  • GSTIN, and the clinical establishment registration number if your state requires one
  • your ABDM Health Facility Registry ID and NABH accreditation, if you have them
  • an email address for patient enquiries (we never display it)

For each doctor:

  • full name as it appears on the register
  • registration number and the council that issued it
  • qualifications and specialty
  • consultation fee and what it covers, if you would like it shown

Please send only factual information. We do not publish promotional descriptions, claims of being “best” or “No.1”, success rates, testimonials or doctor photographs, in line with the National Medical Commission’s Guidelines on Ethical Advertising and Public Communication.

How we check it

We look up each doctor on the official register and each facility on the public records that apply, then confirm fees directly with the clinic. A listing shows each check with its date. The full process is on how we verify.

New listings, claims and corrections are usually done within 5 working days. If something does not match the register, we will write to you before we publish.

Removal requests

A directory is only useful to patients if it is complete, so we may keep a basic factual listing of a registered practitioner or establishment: name, qualifications, specialty, registration and where they practise. This is the kind of factual information the NMC guidelines treat as patient information rather than advertising.

If anything in a listing is wrong, we will correct it promptly. If you want a listing removed, tell us why using the form. We consider every removal request case by case, for example where a doctor has stopped practising, moved abroad or has a safety reason, and we will reply with our decision. If you are not satisfied, you can raise it with our grievance officer.

Add, claim or correct a listing

For doctors, e.g. 12345, Maharashtra Medical Council. We check it against the official register.

If it is already on the site.

Interested in a paid profile upgrade as well? It is separate from your free listing and changes nothing about your position. See profile upgrades for clinics.

Common questions

Is the listing really free?

Yes. Inclusion, checks, corrections and patient enquiries are all free, for every clinic, hospital and doctor.

Can I pay to appear higher in a list?

No. Every list follows one published rule: registration checked first, then fee confirmed, then alphabetical. Payment plays no part. The rule is on our editorial policy page.

How do patient enquiries reach us?

A patient fills in the enquiry form on your profile and we send their name, number and message to the email address you gave us, and to no one else. You reply to the patient directly. We never charge for enquiries.

Can a doctor list themselves without a clinic?

Yes. Send us the doctor’s registration details and the place or places where they see patients. A doctor’s profile appears in search engines once their registration is checked and at least one practice location is listed.

Can we display a “Best Doctors” badge?

No. We do not issue badges, awards or certificates, and a listing here is not an award. Please do not describe it as one.
