We do not publish patient ratings, star scores or reviews of doctors, clinics or hospitals. We do not copy them from other websites either. This page explains why, and what would need to be in place before we ever change that.
Why we do not publish reviews
- We cannot verify them yet. We have no reliable way to confirm that a reviewer was really a patient, and our rule is that ratings we cannot verify are never published.
- Reviews are easy to manipulate. The National Medical Commission’s guidelines of 6 October 2026 bar doctors and hospitals from buying, soliciting or manipulating reviews, ratings and search rankings (clauses 3.2 and 8.1(xii)). A platform that cannot detect this would put patients and doctors at risk.
- A star rating says little about care. It mostly reflects waiting times and manner, which matter, but it is easy to read as a judgement of clinical skill.
Instead, each listing shows facts you can check: registration, qualifications, where the doctor practises and confirmed fees.
What would have to be true before we add reviews
If we ever add reviews, we will follow the principles of the Bureau of Indian Standards’ IS 19000:2022 on online consumer reviews, and all of these would need to be true first:
- We can confirm that each reviewer actually visited the provider, without collecting their medical records.
- No review is paid for, rewarded or written by anyone working for or connected to the provider.
- Providers cannot write, request, filter, hide or remove reviews, and cannot pay to do so. They get a right of reply instead.
- We publish negative reviews as well as positive ones, and never edit a review to change its meaning.
- Every review is moderated against published rules before it appears, and patient privacy is protected.
- Reviews never affect the order of any list unless that is stated in our published method, and paid upgrades never touch reviews.
- Anyone can report a review to our grievance officer, with the time limits set out on that page.
We will update this page, and the editorial policy, before any review appears on the site.
If someone offers you a review deal
If anyone claims they can get reviews, ratings or a better position for a clinic on this site in return for payment, they do not act for us. Please report it through our contact form.
