Information, not medical advice
Everything on this site is general information to help you find and compare doctors, clinics and hospitals. It is not medical advice, diagnosis or treatment. No doctor-patient relationship
Using the site, or sending an enquiry through it, does not create a doctor-patient relationship with us or with any listed provider. We are not a healthcare provider and we do not book appointments. Any care you receive is between you and the provider you choose.
Accuracy and corrections
We check listings against official records and show the date of each check, as explained on how we verify. Details can change after we check them, so please confirm fees, timings and availability with the provider before you visit. If you find an error, tell us through the listing form and we will correct it promptly.
Listings and claims
- Inclusion and order are editorial decisions, made under our editorial policy. No one can pay for them.
- If you claim or update a listing, you confirm that you are authorised to act for that doctor or establishment, and that what you send is accurate, lawful and complies with the rules of your council, including the NMC guidelines on advertising.
- We may edit, refuse or remove material that is inaccurate, promotional or unlawful.
- Paid profile upgrades, where offered, are covered by separate written terms agreed with the clinic.
Acceptable use
You must not:
- scrape, crawl or copy the directory, or any large part of it, by automated means, except for search engines indexing pages in the normal way
- post or arrange fake, paid or misleading reviews, ratings or testimonials, here or elsewhere, about a listed provider
- send false enquiries, or enquiries in someone else’s name without their permission
- pretend to be a doctor, clinic or anyone else, or claim a listing you are not authorised to manage
- upload anything unlawful, defamatory, harmful or that infringes someone’s rights
- interfere with the site’s security or try to reach data you are not meant to see
- describe a listing here as an award, a ranking of clinical quality or an endorsement
We may block access, remove content or end an upgrade if these terms are broken. We review these rules regularly and will remind users of them at least as often as the IT Rules require.
Intellectual property
The site’s design, text, guides, data compilation and images belong to the owner of Best Doctors and Clinics or are used with permission. You may quote short extracts with a link back to the page. Information from government sources is used under its own licence, such as the Government Open Data Licence India, and credited on the page.
Links to other sites
We link to official registers, regulators, research and providers’ own websites. We do not control those sites and are not responsible for their content or their privacy practices.
Limits on our liability
We work to keep the site accurate and available, but we cannot promise it will always be error free or online. To the extent Indian law allows, we are not liable for decisions you make based on the site, for the care or services any provider gives you, or for indirect loss. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 or any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of India have jurisdiction, without affecting your right to approach a consumer commission.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed. If you keep using the site after a change, the new terms apply.
